There was someone in the Bible who wrote other works outside of the inspired Scripture, but I can't remember who it was. Could it have been Moses? Whoever it was, they wrote a lot of historical infomation in these works, but even they aren't part of the canon. Just because a prophet/bible author wrote something, it didn't mean it was intended to be Scripture.

Jesus himself is believed to have referenced ot prephecies that weren't in the OT. Paul wrote letters that he refers to in letters IN the canon that are NOT in the canon. NO... just because a person wrote something that was included in the canon it doesn't mean that EVERYTHING that person wrote is to be included.... each individual writing must meet the standards of being divinely inspired, regardless of the author.
