Wow. I've heard of pastors thinking they were prophets (of course) and apostles, and other titles, but never a Pope. WOW!!!

Well, they may not "think" they are Popes necessarily, but the way they treat the flock and their position would indicate that they feel like they have total control..

That's sad, man. Truly sad.

Yeah, man. It really is. And the flock is unaware that it's wrong for the pastor to wield so much authority. These pastors usually keep the flock just below the level of the pastor as far as Biblical knowledge goes. It's not until a person seeks out the Bible for themselves that they are usually able to see the error and move on.
