| What do you think is "missing" from music today. Not just HHH. But just music in general. When you go to listen to an album, what topic or type of song are you always disappoint that is NOT on that album (and doesn't seem to be one any album)? Thoughts, comments, whatever.... | |

| Hymns. Someone I was talking to yesterday said they want to hear contemporary hymns over tight beats. Interesting idea. | |

| As for hymns over tight beats
Does any one remember the group Virtue. They did a remake of the hymn
"I Must Tell Jesus"---- I played out That C.D got when I was in high school.

I played out a Petra tape that had "Onward Christian Soldiers" put to the most rockingest beat that Petra ever did..... I'd like to see that done more.... the depth of wisdom in the old hymns.... the new music by comparison is lacking... CCM = Mindless Pop.... Rap comes close... and HHH too.... but most of Christian Music is sadly lacking.....

| speaking of hymns ..
there was a backwoods church that decided to have a contest the pastor said .. whoever gives the most offerings gets to choose 3 hymns after the offering was collected .. the winner was chosen
The pastor called up the old lady who gave the most offerings and asked her to choose three hymns.
When the lady got up to the front she said
"I want Him , Him and Him"
<the end> | |

How about something on the application of biblical truth to everyday situations. and truthfully, I think stuff you've done on Self-Denial and Brindle on Killing Sin needs to be repeated..... in the OT, there's always a reminder to believers not to forget the old things. our society today has a tendency (and I see it in HHH) to 'say something' and then move on to the next thing. Problem is, in many cases, the audience may have HEARD you, but they haven't GRASPED what you've said. That's part of why we keep seeing the same topics and questions repeat on HCR.....especially on Calvinism..... by the way, if you do something on 'remembering', leave 16 open for me.
