What about members of PETA? Why aren't they protesting animal crackers? Gummy bears?

First and foremost, I think that's a honest question. If though its not meat, is there anything in a vegetarians psyche that would hinder them....I'm just curious....
And for the record, I'm a meatatarian.

A wise man once told me in response to vegetarians and vegans across the globe:
All God's creatures have their place................................
And its right next to the mash patatoes.

I was a vegetarian for almost a year. But it wasn't because of the whole "keep animals alive" situation. I wanted to deny myself. It was extremely hard for the first few months. I had to ween myself off of meat. But it was very good discipline. I may try it again one day. But I'd eat any animal if its cooked properly. (cat) (monkey) (pig) (elephant) (Spam...what is spam made of?) (even a chocolate bunny...I guess you can add that to the "do vegans eat food shaped like animals" question)
