God's Will

I am seeking God's will on moving to Philly.
The only thing that might hinder me (besides Hashem's will of course) is the selling of my house.

I want to sit under solid teaching for a year or two or three while possibly attaining a biblical education, to then return and serve the community , either by helping someone raise a church in the hood or raising a church in the hood (I might not qualify due to terminal singleness).

Oh Man .. now there are like 4 more of us homeless reformed types in Rochester
All the reformed churches are in ths burbies or out in da sticks.

There are 4 persons other than myself who are becoming or have become reformed looking for a church home in Rochester.

We gots nowhere to go in the city.

Please pray for us who are becoming or are newly reformed with no church home.

Pray that:
we find a suitable church home and that we find more reformed brethren in the area to fellowship with
and/or
that somebody does a new inner city church plant (hopefully not me)

Just a thought:

4 people looking for a Reformed church in Rochester, no luck finding one. You feel called to raise a church. See the connection? Philly already has some reformed churches, and while they can always use more, Rochester needs one to start with. Just my opinion, but God has placed you there for a reason. The moment you leave, you destroy any chance of making an impact there. Have you considered that God has called you to raise a church, but not in Philly? I think you should seek that solid discipleship, get that bible college/seminary education, then proceed with your plans right at home. Aside from all of that, the real estate industry is at an all-time low right now, it's gonna be hard to sell. But anyway, that's just me.

Might want to check them out. Don't know if they'll have what you desire, but it would appear they are solid churches.

East Rochester != Rochester ... I know about all the reformed churches in the area.
There are 3 way out in da burbs and one way out in the sticks.
There's also a reformed church in a burb not too far .. it was kinda iffy .. like they was tryin' to be super hip or whatev.
There's also a legalistic reformed baptist church from which I almost got kicked out of.
