The Anathemas of the Second Counsel of Constantinople

Yes. They believe that Mary never had any other children after Jesus was born. However, the Bible tells us that he had some bro's. James was one of them.

The phrase "let him be anathema" is one that I find Catholics I converse with reluctant to hold onto, trying to change the meaning of anathema. Many people are trying to include Catholics into the brotherhood of Christianity, but they certainly don't believe US to be Christians at all. We reject many of the "anathemas" and therefore, to them, should be cursed.

For once, I'd like to meet an honest Catholic who will tell me he believes I am going to hell.

Not only this, but according to the council of trent's canon on justification,

“If anyone saith, that men are justified, either by the sole imputation of the justice of Christ, or by the sole remission of sins, to the exclusion of the grace and the charity which is poured forth in their hearts by the Holy Ghost, and is inherent in them; or even that the grace, whereby we are justified , is only the favour of God; let him be anathema”

Hence, my major irritation with people who try to say 'Oh, Catholics are our brothers!'. I'm like....dude... you just sold out the biblical gospel to call someone a 'brother' who denies the gospel.
