What was the message at your church yesterday?

It's true that doctrine divides. It's also true that love unifies. The unity we have in the faith is rooted and grounded in truth and love. Remove truth (right theology and doctrine) from the mix and you have less than Biblical unity. Remove love and you have no unity. Love causes us to seek truth and share that truth with others so that we become more unified. God is truth, and as we are more acquainted with His truth, the closer we are to Him, and the closer we become to each other

The topic was about Enjoying Jesus

the pastor is preaching through Revelation and he was on the church that lost their first love. He called the church to repentance if we have lost our first love. I got to church late Embarassed . Don't ask me why- so I missed a good portion of the message but what I caught I really was edified by.

Enjoying, delighting in Jesus

Ps. for spiritual edification and intimacy in conversation - this is a wonderful website!

going through a series of the DNA, so to speak, of Redeeming Grace Church. Been at it since January, from what they believe, their mission, community, ect. Right now we're on a series of why its important to commit to a local church.

I just preached the last message in Galatians [6:11-18] today. After 28 messages in that book I'm almost sorry to be finished.

Well on to the next book. Sunday''s Message 312142
