The State of the Body Adress

A few days ago President Bush gave his Sate of the Union Adress. In it, he describes the current state of our country, good and bad, changes in the works, and plans for the future.

I was wondering, if you had a chance to do the same, only adressing the state the body of Christ in America, what would your speech sound like? What key issues would you deal with? What solutions would you provide?

Are we speaking of the general landscape of Christianity in America that includes false converts and mere professors, or are we speaking of the invisible church in America?

Christendom in general, including all heretical churches.

The state of the body address would be a heart rendering address.
An address I would not be able to finish without tears.

For the state of the current ""church"" is a sad state.
Biblical sufficiency is under severe attack.
The preaching of the gospel is thought to be no longer needed,
instead we seem in need of entertaining sinners so as to entice them into a false profession of faith so as to appear fruitful in gaining converts.

Sadlly, we gain not converts, but false professors who trample underfoot the oh so precious gospel of The Lord Jesus, The Christ.

The body at large is in dire need of repentance, lest we be saying Lord, Lord did not we do this and that in your name, only to have The Lord say ... " I never knew you , depart fro me you who work lawlessness"
